Jack Simpson

Chairman

Jack Simpson joined the Johnson City Development Authority in 2022.  In his capacity on JCDA, Jack serves on both the Finance Committee and as an advisor on the JCDA's 501(c)3 organization, the Downtown Johnson City Foundation Board.   Professionally, Simpson has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and fund development.   In his current role, he serves as president of Ballad Health Foundation where he focuses on improving the health and vitality of the Appalachian Highlands.  In addition to his service on the JCDA, Jack also serves on the Chief Development Officer Advisory Council of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and enjoys spending time in our community with his family.
